Sire of Zodiac, Ambassador, Braveheart, Duke and Exemplar, all Champions at Perth February Sales. He also sired Chapelton Dauphin who broke the breed record at the sales in 2012.
A limited supply of semen available for home and overseas distribution.
Purchased in February 2010, Banqo’s strong maternal qualities, exemplified by his full sister Glenisla Eva Broadhooks, Senior Female Champion at RHS 2011, are producing excellent heifer claves. His first sons and daughters are now coming through, led by Chapelton Honeysuckle, who sold for 13,000 gns at Stirling in October.
Stonehills X Factor
Purchased in February 2012, X Factor’s first calfves are due in the Spring of 2013. He is already displaying the qualities of his sire, Elliot Bodacious, who won supreme champion at the World Conference Show of 2010. X Factor ran with our maiden heifers last summer and is now with our Autumn calving group.
We were drawn to Yankee for his frame and soundness of structure. We were also keen to reintroduce the bloodlines of his maternal grandsire, Chapelton Masterkey, one of Tofts Romany’s best sons. Sons of Yankee include Chapelton Clansman, Reserve Champion at Stirling 2011 selling to Pode Hole for 10,000gns and Chapelton Ensign, who joined Glenrinnes Farms this spring.
Fergus of Upsall
Purchased at the February Sales 2014, Fergus combines the influence of the Glenisla Eva Broadhooks family which also produced Banqo and introduces the Upsall Ury Maid family which produced Upsall Cougar. We look forward to his first calves in spring 2015.
We were also pleased to secure Paddy at the Sales in February 2014. He introduces entirely new bloodlines to the Chapelton herd and will run with our heifers this season.
