Stirling Bull Sales – October 2017

Will have one Shorthorn bull and five maiden Shorthorn heifers forward the sale on the 23 October.

Chapelton Jacob
A well-grown, September-born, son of Chapelton Emperor, Jacob secured a third prize at the Royal Highland Show in 2017. He combines very good calving and milk figures with strong growth rates and muscling EBVs.

Maiden Heifers

A Chapelton Brigadier daughter, Jackie combines good calving figures with good eye-muscle area and retail yield figures. Her dam is a maternal sister to a bull bought by Cogent.

Chapelton Nettle 5594
Nettle is another Brigadier daughter with direct calving ease figures in the top 10% of the breed.

Chapelton Wild Eyes 5611
Wild Eyes’ dam is a maternal sister to Julius, who sold for 6,800 gns, and Galaxy, who sold for 7,500 gns.

Chapelton Cheerleader 5657
Cheerleader’s dam is a maternal sister to Hamlet, a bull we have retained for use at home, and Emir, who sold for 7,500 gns. She was sired by Fergus of Upsall and has good growth rate figures.
